Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 63-year-old David Stitt of the Town of Boston has pleaded guilty before State Supreme Court Justice John L. Michalski to one count of Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the First Degree. 

The defendant admitted to having oral sexual contact with a five-year-old child several times between June of 2016 and May of 2017. Stitt also admitted to taking sexually explicit photographs of that same child. 

Stitt faces up to 25 years in state prison when he is sentenced by Justice Michalski on November 21, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. 

DA Flynn commends the excellent investigative work of Investigators Gary Mahoney and Ryan Shanahan with the New York State Police at the barracks in the Town of Boston. 

Assistant District Attorney Meghan E. Leydecker of the DA’s Special Victims Bureau prosecuted the case.
