Gunman Indicted for Stockbridge Avenue Homicide

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 36-year-old Andrello M. Brown of Buffalo has been arraigned before Erie County Court Judge Susan Eagan on an indictment charging him with one count of Murder in the Second Degree, a Class “A-1” felony, and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a Class “C” violent felony. The defendant was arraigned on Tuesday, August 4, 2020.

It is alleged that on April 12, 2020, at approximately 5:00 p.m., the defendant fatally shot 41-year-old Clint Reeder on Stockbridge Avenue near Parkridge Avenue in the City of Buffalo.

Brown is scheduled to return on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. for a pre-trial conference. He continues to be held without bail.

If convicted on all charges, he faces a maximum of 25 years to life in prison.

DA Flynn commends Det. Sgt. William Cooley, Det. Scott Malec, Det. Mark White, and Det. Jay Mayhook of the Buffalo Police Department Homicide Squad for their work in the investigation.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Ryan D. Haggerty of the DA’s Tactical Prosecution Unit.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
