Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 23-year-old Eric Clark of Hamburg pleaded guilty before State Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller to one count of Rape in the Second Degree, a Class “D” felony.

On October 31, 2017, the defendant, being 18 years old or more, engaged in sexual intercourse with a juvenile female less than 15 years old at a location in the Town of West Seneca.

Clark faces a maximum sentence of 7 years in prison when he is sentenced on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.

DA Flynn commends Detective Lieutenant William Leitzel and Detective James Kocienewski of the West Seneca Police Department for their work in the investigation.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Katharine S. Lavin of the DA’s Special Victims Bureau.
