Lancaster Man Pleads Guilty to Child Porn Charge

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 24-year-old Jeremy Casey of Lancaster pleaded guilty before Erie County Court Judge Suzanne Maxwell Barnes to one count of Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, a Class “E” felony. The defendant pleaded guilty on July 9, 2019.

In July 2018, investigators found images of child pornography on the defendant’s cell phone.

Casey faces a maximum of 4 years in prison when he is sentenced on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. He remains released on his own recognizance.

DA Flynn commends the investigative work of Detective Robert Cornell and Detective Lieutenant James Robinson  of the Lancaster Police Department.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Cathleen M. Roemer of the DA’s Special Victims Bureau.
