Student Charged for Shots Fired Incident at Buffalo State College

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 21-year-old Isiah Doyle of Buffalo has been arraigned before Buffalo City Court Judge Betty Calvo-Torres on one count of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, a Class “B” felony, one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a Class “C” felony, one count of Attempted Assault in the First Degree, a Class “C” felony, one count of Criminal Use of a Firearm in the First Degree, a Class “C” felony, and one count of Menacing in the Second Degree, a Class “A” misdemeanor.

It is alleged that during the early morning hours of Sunday, September 29,  2019, the defendant fired shots during fight involving several individuals at the intersection of Rockwell Road and Rees Street on the SUNY Buffalo State College campus. No injuries were reported.

Doyle is scheduled to return on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. for a felony hearing. Bail was set at $50,0000.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
