Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 60-year-old Craig Hicks of West Seneca has pleaded guilty before Erie County Court Judge Kenneth F. Case to one count of Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree and one count of Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree.

Between February of 2014 and April of 2015, while serving as treasurer of the Carriager’s Social Club in West Seneca, Hicks stole $12,500 from the club’s operating account and cash fundraisers.

Hicks has made full restitution.

The defendant faces up to 4 years in prison when he is sentenced on September 11. 2017 at 2:00 p.m. by Judge Case.

DA Flynn credits the investigative work of the West Seneca Police Department, including Detective Ken Morano and Confidential Criminal Investigator Michael P. Nigrelli from his office.

Assistant District Attorney Christopher P. Jurusik from the DA’s Special Investigations and Prosecutions Bureau prosecuted the case.
