Erie County Legislator Chris Greene recently presented a proclamation to Doug Rifenburg, owner of Victory Global Sports Outreach, Inc. located in the Easter Hills Mall, to recognize the hard work and dedication he puts into helping children enjoy sports worldwide.

Doug Rifenburg was driven to open Victory Global Sports Outreach, Inc. by his family’s love of sports and his desire to supply sporting equipment to less fortunate kids who otherwise couldn’t afford to participate in the sports they love.

In the year 2020 alone, Victory Global Sports Outreach, Inc. distributed over 19,000 sports and play items, 2,600 play packs, impacted over 14,000 kids and served eight countries.

Legislator Greene said, “As a father of four young and athletic boys, I know just how expensive it can be to play sports year after year. I want to send a thank you to Doug Rifenburg for taking this into consideration and dedicating countless hours to building a business that gives young children the opportunity to play sports and help build the foundation for their future. I wish you nothing but success for years to come and I look forward to hearing about the great work you will continue to do.”
