Erie County Legislator Chris Greene recently announced a contract Erie County has entered into with Buffalo Homecare Inc. to vaccinate homebound residents in Erie County.

Buffalo Homecare is a licensed homecare agency which provides various services to homebound residents; they are also an authorized COVID-19 vaccinator by New York State.

The contract between Erie County and Buffalo Homecare will be fully funded by federal dollars with no county share expense.

Legislator Greene said, “Entering into this contract with Buffalo Homecare is a no-brainer. We will now be able to help protect our homebound neighbors from the dangers of COVID-19 by bringing the vaccination to them if they wish to receive one.”

Anyone with questions should contact the Erie County’s COVID information line at (716) 858-2929.
