Legislator Lorigo names Jim Manley, veterans advocate, as Citizen of the Month

Erie County Legislature Majority Leader Joseph Lorigo is pleased to announce that Jim Manley of West Seneca has been named the November 2016 Erie County Citizen of the Month for his dedication to the community, especially ensuring that veterans receive the services they deserve. Manley was honored at American Legion Post 735 in West Seneca.

 

“I am honored to name Jim Manley as Citizen of the Month for his dedication to our community, specifically for his commitment to veterans and ensuring they are receiving the services, support and recognition they deserve. Mr. Manley proudly served our country and to this day continues to assist veterans in many ways. Thank you to Jim for all he does for the greater West Seneca community and especially veterans,” said Majority Leader Lorigo. “When I announced that Mr. Manley was chosen for this honor, I heard from dozens of residents who joined me in applauding his efforts and who are so grateful for all he has done. He truly is an inspiration and has had a significant impact on our community.”
