Erie County Legislature Majority Leader Joseph Lorigo announces his support for the County’s Made in America Act. The law was approved by the Legislature at a special session held Aug. 18, 2017.

“I am proud to support Erie County’s Made in America Act because I believe government should do everything it can to support domestic manufacturing and our local economy. I have heard positive feedback about this law, and hope the County Executive signs it so that it gets placed on the ballot in November, allowing voters to make the ultimate decision.  While the Legislature has shown its commitment to supporting the local economy, approving the Made in America Act ensures that those efforts continue, but in a much broader fashion.”
