Erie County Legislator Joe Lorigo was joined by Elma Town Supervisor Dennis Powers and Highway Superintendent Wayne Clark to survey badly damaged roads throughout the Town of Elma Wednesday morning.

The roads in the photos are Creek Road, Bowen Road, and the intersection of Bowen Road with Clinton Street.

Legislator Lorigo said, “These are just a few examples of roads throughout my legislative district that have been continually neglected. Bowen Road is a main thoroughfare and should be addressed by the administration immediately. Leaving these roads with cracks, potholes, and deteriorating shoulders places public safety at risk. Erie County residents beyond the first ring suburbs also deserve to have their county roads addressed.”
