“Passports on the Move” planned at AAA in Orchard Park

Erie County Legislature Chairman John Mills reminds residents that Erie County Clerk Chris Jacobs is teaming up with AAA of Western and Central New York to offer a “Passports on the Move” outreach event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29th at the AAA Travel & Insurance Center located at 3475 Amelia Drive in Orchard Park.

Applicants will need to bring proof of citizenship such as an original or certified copy of their birth certificate, a previously issued passport or original naturalization certificate and proof of identity, such as a current New York State driver’s license or non-driver I.D. Passport photos can be obtained on-site for AAA Members for $10. Those who attend the outreach will be able to apply for a passport card and/or book and can expect to receive their passport in approximately 4-6 weeks.

Payment can be made by check or money order only, credit cards cannot be accepted. Appointments are required and can be scheduled by contacting the AAA Orchard Park Travel & Insurance Center at (716) 362-7742.
