Erie County Legislator John J. Mills announces the schedule for his 9th annual Hot Dog Roast Fundraisers to support the library branches in his district. In total, these popular events have raised more than $47,800 to support ongoing efforts to provide quality programming and materials at each of the branches in Legislator Mills’ District.
“I am excited to once again partner with the libraries in my district to host the Hot Dog Roast Fundraisers and support the branches’ efforts to meet the needs of the community. Each year the events grow in popularity and we have a great turnout. It is great to see the community come together to support the library,” said Legislator Mills. “This year we will exceed $50,000, which is a great testament to these communities’ support for their libraries.”
Fundraisers will be held on the following dates:
- Thursday, June 11, 5:30 – 7 p.m., at the Boston Free Library, 9475 Boston State Rd., Boston
- Friday, June 19, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Angola Public Library, 34 North Main St., Angola
- Saturday, June 20, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., at the Town of Collins Public Library, 2341 Main St., Collins
- Wednesday, July 1, 5 – 6:30 p.m., at the North Collins Library, 2095 School St., North Collins
- Thursday, July 16, 4 - 7 p.m., at the Concord Public Library, 18 Chapel St., Springville
- Wednesday, July 22, 4:30 – 7 p.m., at the Eden Library, 2901 E. Church St., Eden
- Friday, August 14, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the Orchard Park Library, 4570 S. Buffalo St., Orchard Park
- Saturday, August 15, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the West Falls – Colden Library, 1966 Davis Rd., West Falls in partnership with Majority Leader Joseph Lorigo
