Legislator John Mills Library Hot Dog Roast Fundraising Reaches All-Time High

Erie County Legislator John Mills today announced that this year’s hot dog roast fundraising efforts raised $5,269, an all-time high since the events began in 2007. All proceeds from the hot dog roasts benefit local public libraries.

“These fundraisers are a good way to raise money for the libraries and go a long way in supporting their efforts in the community,” said Legislator Mills. “I would like to thank everyone who supported the library, as well as the Town and Village officials who volunteered their time to make these events a success. Special thanks also go out to Dr. Patrick Keem for all of his help and service as our Senior Cook.”

The highest amount raised was for the Concord Public Library, with a total of $1,317. To date, Mills’ hot dog fundraisers have raised a total $20,731 for libraries in the Towns of Aurora, Collins, Concord, Orchard Park and West Falls/Colden.
