Legislator Mills announces Angola, Orchard Park Library Hot Dog Roast Fundraisers

Erie County Legislator John J. Mills announces that his annual Hot Dog Roast Fundraiser benefitting the Angola Public Library will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 28 at the Angola Public Library, 34 N. Main St., Angola and the Orchard Park Library fundraiser is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4 at the Orchard Park Public Library, 4570 S. Buffalo St., Orchard Park.

 

The fundraisers support the libraries’ ongoing effort to provide quality programming and materials to the communities they serve. Cost is $1 for hot dog and bottle of water, and $2 for an Italian sausage and bottle of water.

 

The Angola event will feature live music by Linda Giancarlo and a bake sale with $.50 cookies and brownies. The library mascot "Reada the Owl” will be making an appearance. The library’s book sale is also running Thursday, July 27 to Saturday, July 29. Check with the library for hours.

 

The Orchard Park Fundraiser will feature Pee Wee Puppets performing at 1 p.m. Children will also be able to make their own puppet during the Pee Week Puppet Workshop, registration is required by calling the library at 662-9851. CLICK HERE to see flyer.
