The Greater Buffalo/Niagara Area Bicycle Route Guide, which includes a list of seven major bike trails throughout the region, is now available, announced Erie County Legislator John J. Mills, R-Orchard Park.
Developed by the Greater Buffalo-Niagara Regional Transportation Council, the guide includes a full-color map of designated routes in Erie and Niagara counties, as well as a detailed map of downtown. It also features a list of bicycle dealers, repair and rental shops, and information about how to “Recycle-A-Bicycle” and receive a tax deductible receipt.
“Exploring Erie County by bicycle has never been easier with the Bicycle Route Guide. Free copies are available through my office,” Legislator Mills said. “The detailed maps make it simpler for riders to enjoy new paths and take advantage of all this region has to offer.”
Additionally, New York State Bicycle Law guidelines are highlighted in the guide, along with safety tips, rules of the road, how to take a bike on the Metro Rail and multi-use trail information.
