Legislator Mills announces Orchard Park Library event raises $1,455

Erie County Legislator John J. Mills is pleased to announce that the 11th annual Orchard Park Library Hot Dog Roast Fundraiser totaled $1,455 to support the library’s efforts to provide quality programming and materials for patrons.

“The Orchard Park Library’s Hot Dog Roast Fundraiser was once again a huge success, setting a new record. I want to thank everyone who came out and supported the library, especially over the past 11 years as this event has raised $11,469 for this great branch,” said Legislator Mills.

Legislator Mills presented the 2017 donation to Orchard Park Library Director Peggy Errington on Sept. 5.

“Every year Legislator Mills' library fundraiser surpasses our expectations. The Orchard Park Library intends to use these funds for enhanced STEM/STEAM related materials and programming.  We plan to facilitate connections for children to a creative STEM environment.  We very much appreciate Legislator Mills's continued dedication to all of the libraries in his district,” said Director Errington.
