Legislator Mills to discuss County issues at North Collins Town Board meeting

Erie County Legislature Minority Leader John J. Mills will continue to meet with residents, in cooperation with town and village boards, during scheduled meetings. At each of the meetings, Minority Leader Mills will discuss County issues and share information on items concerning residents.

Beginning one half hour before the scheduled meeting, Minority Leader Mills will be available to meet with residents and answer any questions they may have; he will also stay for the duration of the meeting to talk with residents after adjournment. Among the topics Minority Leader Mills plans to discuss are infrastructure repairs and County finances.

Legislator Mills will be available to meet with residents and provide an update on county issues at the North Collins Town Board Meeting, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at North Collins Town Hall, 10569 Main St., North Collins.

Minority Leader Mills, along with his colleagues in the Minority Caucus, closed District Offices in 2010, saving taxpayers thousands of dollars annually. Through outreach programs, the Legislators are much more accessible, meeting at times and locations that are convenient for constituents.

In addition to being the largest district in square mileage, Minority Leader Mills’ also represents the most residents and his district includes 15 municipalities, which makes it all the more important that Outreach Programs are scheduled, giving residents an opportunity to discuss county issues without traveling great distances.

Throughout the year, Minority Leader Mills will be available to meet with residents at Town and Village Board meetings. He is also available to meet individually with residents at a time and location convenient for them.
