Erie County Legislator John J. Mills presented a proclamation to New York State Trooper Christopher Sullivan in recognition of his efforts to save a young girl’s life. A ceremony was held at the NYS Police Barracks located in the Town of Boston on Friday, June 22, 2012.
“On behalf of the Erie County Legislature, I want to recognize Trooper Sullivan’s quick thinking and heroism. What could have been a tragedy ended as a miracle, thanks to his actions,” said Legislator Mills.
Trooper Sullivan, a father of three young children, responded to a call on May 23, 2012 for a young girl who had been pulled, unconscious from the family’s swimming pool.
