Erie County Legislature Chairman John J. Mills has released the following statement:

“I was extremely pleased to learn that Terry and Kim Pegula will be the next owners of the Buffalo Bills. In a short period of time, they have distinctly expressed their commitment and passion for Western New York. When I served as an Orchard Park Councilman in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s, I worked closely with the Bills and always appreciated the Wilson family’s commitment to our region. I think it is evident that same level of commitment will continue with the Pegulas. Today’s announcement is great news for New York State, Erie County and Buffalo Bills fans.”
