Erie County Legislator John Mills joined Town of Concord Councilman Phil Drozd to tour damaged roads throughout the town Wednesday morning.
Legislator Mills and Councilman Drozed visited Trevett Road, Zoar Valley Road, Genesee Road and Mortons Corners Road. All roads have suffered cracks, potholes, sinking shoulders and other damage to cause safety concern. A portion of Trevett Road has been closed since January, which has hurt a local volunteer fire company’s emergency response times.
“After getting a first-hand look at these roads, it’s clear the administration needs to fix this as soon as possible,” said Legislator Mills. “Our residents and first responders are in danger if these roads continue to crumble without repair. I’d like to thank Councilman Drozd for contacting my office and I will be pressuring the administration to act quickly for the safety of our community.”
