Erie County Legislator John Mills announces the return of the Legislature’s Citizen of the Month Award, recognizing outstanding members of the community. Nominations for this honor are currently being sought. Legislator Mills will present the honor in December.
“Our community is blessed to have so many outstanding residents. This is an opportunity to share their story with others and thank them for everything they do. If you know someone who continues to improve our community through their efforts, please let me know by nominating them for this honor," said Legislator Mills.
The Erie County Legislature has a long-standing tradition of recognizing individuals that have achieved great heights in their professions, have retired from distinguished careers, have demonstrated excellence in the arts or sports, or have made extraordinary contributions to the quality of life or quality of place in Erie County.
Legislator Mills represents the 11th District, which includes the towns of Brant, Boston, Collins, Concord, Eden, Evans, Orchard Park, North Collins and Sardinia, and Villages of Angola, Farnham, Gowanda, Orchard Park, North Collins and Springville.
