The Chairwoman of the Erie County Legislature recently appointed Legislator John Mills to a new Small Business Committee to work on behalf of businesses throughout the County.

Legislator Mills has owned a food distribution business in Orchard Park for the past 40 years and has been elected to the Erie County Legislature for more than 10 years.

Legislator Mills said, “I have owned J. Mills Distributing in Orchard Park for several decades and I am familiar with the many ups and downs of being a business owner. This committee is important, especially as businesses throughout Erie County continue to navigate hardships created by the COVID-19 pandemic. I look forward to getting to work with my colleagues and advocating on behalf of small businesses in our community.”
