On behalf of Erie County, Legislator John Mills visited a number of organizations throughout his legislative district to drop-off masks last week. Roughly 6,000 masks were delivered to the Greater Niagara Frontier Council Boy Scouts of America, the Concord Senior Center, the Trading Post Community Care Center, the Orchard Park Senior Center, Eden-North Collins Food Pantry, and Love INC of Gowanda.

Legislator Mills said, “It is important to make sure everyone has access to personal protective equipment, especially as we enter the phases of re-opening. It was my pleasure to deliver thousands of masks for the health and safety of our community. I also enjoyed visiting with a few of these organizations to hear more about the charitable work they have done throughout these difficult times. Their efforts are greatly appreciated.”

Peggy Austin, Trading Post Director said, With 1 in 6 Americans who struggle with hunger, our mission at the Trading Post is to display God‘s love to the Greater Springville Community by meeting everyday needs and developing caring relationships in an atmosphere that nurtures dignity and hope. Thank you Legislator John Mills for the generous gift of face masks, this has enabled us to continue to serve in a safe environment.”
