Erie County Legislator John Mills recently attended the 2020 Springville Area Chamber of Commerce awards presentation—a celebration of the upstanding citizens and businesses in Springville.

The Chamber’s Awards Committee made its selections based on nominations submitted by the public.

Awardees include:

• Dennis Dains, Citizen of the Year

• Helen Brogan, President’s Award

• David Sullivan, Community Service Award

• Lawrence’s Tavern &  Gentner Commission Market, Longevity Award

• Max Borsuk, Liesle Neureuther and Joseph Rumfola, Young Professional Award

• The Meat Shoppe, Small Business of the Year

• Springville Fire Company, Non-profit of the Year

• CH2M HILL BWXT West Valley, LLC.,  Business of the Year

Legislator Mills said, “I am proud to represent an area with outstanding citizens who gave 100 percent to their cause-- because of them our community is better off. Thank you for your continued devotion and dedication.”
