Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently announced a project that will rehabilitate Borden Road in the Towns of West Seneca and Cheektowaga and the Village of Depew. Bergmann Associates will be the lead on engineering services for the project for a total amount of $545,519.

Borden Road extends for approximately 3.5 miles between Seneca Creek Road in West Seneca and Broadway NY 130 in the Village of Depew. The project is to replace the storm drainage system and to mill and overlay the road. Design and construction will be divided into three phases, each addressing a different segment of the 3.5 mile project.

Legislator Todaro said, “This project is long overdue. The drainage systems are deteriorating and at the end of their design lives and anyone who drives on Borden knows that the pavement is crumbling. I am happy my voice was heard and my constituents will have a better road to drive and feel safe on.”
