Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently announced the Erie County Department of Health will be hosting a free, drive-thru rabies vaccination clinic for dogs, ferrets and indoor/outdoor cats on Saturday, September 25th by appointment only from 9 in the morning until 1 in the afternoon.

The clinic will be held at Erie County Emergency Services Training and Operations Center at 3359 Broadway in Cheektowaga. You are asked to bring proof of vaccination to the event in order to receive a three-year vaccination certificate.

In order to attend the clinic, pet owners must register by calling (716) 961-6800 or by visiting this website: https://apps2.health.ny.gov/doh2/applinks/cdmspr/2/counties?DateID=C925BC947EC90258E0530A6C7C16581F

Legislator Todaro said, “This is a great opportunity here in Erie County and I urge all pet owners in my district to sign up and get your furry family member properly vaccinated. Those vet appointments can quickly add up so it is important to take advantage of the free clinics whenever they pop up.”
