During the last session of the Erie County Legislature, Legislator Frank Todaro approved a resolution transferring property to the Village of Lancaster to continue progress on the downtown revitalization project.

As part of the $85 million dollar West Main Street enhancement, the transfer will be incorporated into the Village’s plans for a park along the north side of Cayuga Creek.

Legislator Todaro said, “Every time I visit downtown Lancaster I am amazed at the progress being made. I am proud to announce the transfer of land from Erie County to the Village in order to keep this long-awaited project on track. As we head into the new year, I look forward to seeing the park and all of the other enhancements come together.”
