Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro

Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently stopped by LaPaloma Pizzeria in Alden to celebrate its 60th anniversary and present the DiChristina family with a proclamation.

Jack and Fran DiChristina’s dream became a reality in 1960 when they opened the doors of LaPaloma Pizzeria on Broadway.  The pizzeria has been in the family for three generations; after years of building the business from the ground up, it was passed down to their son Frank and his family.

LaPaloma is best known for its legendary pizzas, dressings and sauces that are made using fresh ingredients based on true family recipes.

Legislator Todaro said, “You can’t beat three generations of quality pizza pie! LaPaloma Pizzeria means just as much to the community as it does to the DiChristina family. I want to send a big thank you to Jack, Fran and the whole family for keeping this wonderful establishment up and running all of these years.”
