Last week, Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro delivered more than 3,000 boxes of candy generously donated by Dave Gordon of Dave’s Christmas Wonderland. The candy was used for Lancaster and Alden’s Halloween Trunk-or-Treat events and will also be passed out at the Depew Truck-n-Treat event this Saturday.

Legislator Todaro said, “This was such a kind gesture by Dave Gordon, who is always giving back to his community. This year is different for kids and families and the district I am proud to represent has stepped up to make sure children can still have a fun, safe Halloween. I want to thank all of the event organizers for everything they’ve done, and it was my pleasure to help make sure they have enough candy to go around. I hope the local dentists are ready!”

Depew’s Truck-n-Treat will take place Saturday, October 31 at Fireman’s Park located at 50 Gould Ave. The event runs from 6pm-8pm and is drive through only. Members of the Depew Police and Fire Departments will be on-site to help move traffic through.
