Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently honored the top ten seniors at Alden Senior High School by presenting them with proclamations recognizing them for their academic hard work and dedication.

Legislator Todaro met with the following students to congratulate them earlier this week:

Kaleigh Andrzejewski is valedictorian with an overall grade point average of 99.2 and will be attending the University of Alabama in the fall, majoring in computer science.

Katherine Sentz is salutatorian with an overall grade point average of 99.12 and will be attending Canisius College, majoring in accounting with a minor in human resources.

Michael Frisicaro is graduating third in his class and will be attending the University at Buffalo in the fall, majoring in mechanical engineering.

Charles Freeman is graduating fourth in his class and will be attending Buffalo State College in the fall, majoring in mechanical engineering.

Matthew Robertson is graduating fifth in his class and will be attending Canisius College in the fall, majoring in accounting and finance.

Laura Mollenkopf-Grill is graduating sixth in her class and will be attending the State University of New York at Fredonia in the fall, majoring in adolescent education in Spanish.

Cheyanne Witmer is graduating seventh in her class and will be attending the University at Buffalo in the fall, majoring in chemistry.

Rose Mary Piechocki is graduating eighth in her class and will be attending University at Buffalo in the fall and will be majoring in pre-medicine.

Madison Abbott is graduating ninth in her class and will be attending Gannon University in the fall, majoring in occupational therapy.

Mariah Austin is graduating tenth in the class and will be attending the College of Wooster majoring in anthropology.

Legislator Todaro said, “Congratulations to the top ten seniors at Alden Senior High School! I am beyond proud of your hard work and dedication in receiving such high scores; without a doubt you all have an extremely bright future ahead. You are making Western New York a better place for all!”

The Alden High School Class of 2021 commencement ceremony will take place June 25^th.
