Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently honored Depew resident Lori A. Allan for her volunteerism serving in various organizations and charities and dedication in being an asset to the public relations industry in Western New York.
Lori A. Allan previously held positions in the public relations industry with Child & Family Services, Orchard Park Central School District, the Pharmacy Benefits Dimensions and was the Executive Assistant to the publisher and president of The Buffalo News. Currently, Allan works at Charter School for Applied Technologies where she is responsible for the school’s communications strategies.
Allan is also a member of the Public Relations Society of America and was recently elected as President of the Public Relations Society of America Buffalo Niagara Chapter where she heads a 12-person board of directors.
Lori A. Allan is very active in the Western New York community. Allan serves as treasurer for the WNY School Public Relations Association, is a champion of the WNY Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of her late father and previously was a board member with Susan G. Komen WNY.
Legislator Todaro said, “Whenever anyone is in need Lori Allan is one of the first people to step up to the plate, no questions asked; she is a treasure to the Western New York community.
