Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently honored Protective Hose Company for its 125th anniversary. The Protective Hose Company of the Lancaster Fire Department was incorporated on October 29, 1896 and continues to proudly serve the Village of Lancaster with a diverse group of volunteers.
Legislator Todaro presented a proclamation on behalf of the Erie County Legislature to the company, along with Life Member Jacob Schu, Chief Tom Kukoleca, Former Chief Bill Revelas and Secretary Dan Bonk.
Legislator Todaro said, “I want to congratulate the Protective Hose Company on the occasion of its 125th anniversary! That is quite the milestone. I also want to thank everyone involved for running an operation that goes above and beyond the call of duty to keep the Village of Lancaster and its residents safe from harm’s way.”
