Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro

Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently joined forces with the Town of Cheektowaga Employees Association by visiting the homes of 10 senior citizens who mentioned they could use some help in getting the outside of their homes ready for the spring and summer months ahead.

Legislator Todaro got his hands dirty by raking, cutting lawns, trimming bushes and trees, clearing garbage and debris and planting.

Legislator Todaro said, “Thank you to the over 40 volunteers who joined me in lending a helping hand to our neighbors in need of a little spring yard cleaning. I want to send a big thank you to TCEA President Gregory Magnuszewski for putting together such a wonderful event to help our local seniors and to Legislator Tim Meyers for joining me.”

Legislator Meyers said, “I was happy to spend a Saturday morning helping seniors in our community do some spring cleaning. Thank you to all volunteers who took time out of their weekend to pitch in for a great cause. We had an awesome turnout and I look forward to more cleanup efforts like this in the future.”
