Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently visited Barkology, the first indoor/outdoor dog park and bar to set up shop in the Buffalo area.

Located at 4939 Genesee Street in Cheektowaga, Barkology is a space for dogs to play while owners relax at an accompanying bar. The venue also functions as a doggy daycare facility on weekdays. Legislator Todaro stopped by last weekend to present a proclamation congratulating owners Megan Sitarek and Steven Morlock and welcoming them to the local business community.

Legislator Todaro said, “It’s great to see such a creative, one-of-a-kind business concept come to life in our community. There were lots of happy customers, both human and canine, when I stopped in for a visit last weekend. I wish owners Steven and Megan the best of luck. Make no bones about it, they’re off to a great start!”
