Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently honored Bulldog Manufacturing at Alden High School. First established in 2019, Bulldog Manufacturing is a two-year program available to Alden High School Juniors and Seniors to earn two credits a year and gain valuable, real-world experience in marketing consumer products, business and finance.

Bulldog Manufacturing’s goal is to educate students with meaningful work that will prepare students for the workforce and give them the best opportunity to succeed after high school. After nearly three years, the program continues to grow and local companies such as Moog and Casey Machine are taking notice and joining forces to help assist the students.

Legislator Todaro said, “Programs like Bulldog Manufacturing at Alden High School are incredibly important and benefit greatly to the success of young adults. I am thrilled to know that such a program is available for students to learn hands-on skills that transfer to a countless number of professions and careers.”
