In order for you to have the best experience at one of our Auto Bureaus, it is very important you are READY with all your documentation and forms before you come in.  Please use our Website and the DMV Document guide to help you GET READY.

Do you have all your proper documentation and required forms?

YES Reservations

  • Make sure you provide a valid email address and/or write down your confirmation number
  • Head to the selected location and go straight to Self-Help Kiosk (arrive 10 minutes early)
  • Follow the instructions on the kiosk screen and you will be on your way to skipping the line

* If for any reason you need to go to customer service please make them aware of your reservation number and they will issue your ticket

If you wish to speak to a Representative, press 8 and you will be connected to the NYS DMV Call Center. Representatives are available for general assistance on weekdays (See Holiday Hours) between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (Eastern Time).

**Both the Cheektowaga and Tonawanda Auto Bureau Offices are Closed the Saturday preceding Monday holidays or if holiday falls on a Saturday**

Attention: Learner Permit and CDL Testing ends one hour prior to the closing of that office.
