Erie County Comptroller Stefan I. Mychajliw praises Marinelli for her decades of public service
(Buffalo) – Erie County Comptroller Stefan I. Mychajliw released the following statement pertaining to the resignation of Erie County Legislator Lynn Marinelli:
“I thank Lynn Marinelli for dedicating decades of her life making Erie County a better place to live. Her intense passion for public service is unparalleled. She set the bar incredibly high with her noble devotion to constituent service. Public servants on both sides of the aisle should adopt her drive and work ethic. There aren’t many others in politics that worked harder helping others. I wish her well in her continued career in government.
On a personal note, Ms. Marinelli is an inspiration for young women like my eight-year-old daughter Mia Theresa. I want Mia to know the importance and value of public service. Lynn is a role model to Mia and all young women across Erie County. My daughter can look up to Ms. Marinelli as a shining example of a strong woman who can make a difference in their community.”
