Eden volunteer firefighter presented proclamation in recognition of 50 years of service

On Sunday, June 2, Legislator John Mills presented a proclamation to Harold "Skip" Greeley Jr. who has been a volunteer with the Eden Fire Company for 50 years. 

"I wish to extend my congratulations to Skip for the years he has committed to the helping the Eden community. His efforts are nothing short of tremendous. It is an honor to thank Skip and acknowledge his longevity with the fire department," said Legislator Mills. 

Greeley joined the fire department on March 9, 1964, and during his tenure has served as 2nd Lieutenant, Trustee, Vice President, President and in 1990 was bestowed the title of Life Member.
