Erie County Legislator John J. Mills announces the schedule for his 8th annual Hot Dog Roast Fundraisers to support the library branches in his district. In total, these popular events have raised more than $40,000 to support ongoing efforts to provide quality programming and materials at each of the branches in Legislator Mills’ District.
“I am excited to once again partner with the libraries in my district to host the Hot Dog Roast Fundraisers and support the branches’ efforts to meet the needs of the community. Each year the events grow in popularity and we have a great turnout. Thank you to everyone for their past support and I look forward to this year’s events. It is great to see the community come together to support the library,” said Legislator Mills.
Fundraisers will be held on the following dates:
- Friday, June 6, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Angola Public Library, 34 North Main St., Angola
- Thursday, June 19, 5:30 – 7 p.m., at the Boston Free Library, 9475 Boston State Rd., Boston
- Wednesday, July 2, 4 – 7 p.m., at the North Collins Library, 2095 School St., North Collins
- Thursday, July 10, 4 - 7 p.m., at the Concord Public Library, 18 Chapel St., Springville
- Wednesday, July 16, 4:30 – 7 p.m., at the Eden Library, 2901 E. Church St., Eden
- Saturday, July 26, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., at the Town of Collins Public Library, 2341 Main St., Collins
- Saturday, August 9, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the West Falls – Colden Library, 1966 Davis Rd., West Falls in partnership with Majority Leader Joseph Lorigo
- Friday, August 15, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., at the Orchard Park Public Library, 4570 S.Buffalo St., Orchard Park
