Day-Long Forum Includes Information, Resources for Owners, Entrepreneurs
ERIE COUNTY, NY— Today, Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz addressed participants in the 17th annual Straight Talk seminar, held at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center and hosted by the U.S. Small Business Association’s Buffalo District office along with the Buffalo Niagara chapter of SCORE. The event offers small business owners and entrepreneurs information, business counseling and access to resources, as well as opportunities for networking with other business owners.
“Small businesses are an essential part of the fabric of our community, and their success has a significant impact on our local economy,” said Poloncarz. “Straight Talk is an excellent way for anyone who is interested in starting their own business, or has already done so, to get helpful information on business plans, taxes and permits, governmental resources, and many other issues that affect small businesses. The insight and guidance that they gain here can help lead to success in their business.”
