Legislator Mills announces funding for Cradle Beach, Eden Boys and Girls Club

Erie County Legislator John Mills announces that Cradle Beach and the Boys and Girls Club of Eden have received 2015 Summer Primetime funding to support seasonal programming.

 

The funding was included in a $419,581 package that was approved unanimously by the Legislature at its May 14, 2015 session. The Boys and Girls Club of Eden received $7,500 and Cradle Beach received $10,000 for summer camp activities and other programming. 

 

“Cradle Beach is truly a unique organization in our region that goes above and beyond to meet the needs of local families. I am pleased to support Primetime Funding for Cradle Beach, Eden Boys and Girls Club and the other outstanding recipients that focus on providing quality programming for our young people,” said Legislator Mills.

 

Legislator Mills also noted the approval of funding for organizations that benefit the entire county, including Be-A-Friend - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County; Girl Scouts of WNY; YMCA Buffalo/Niagara and several more. A total of 56 organizations received funding.

 

Determination of Summer Primetime funding is coordinated through the Department of Social Services and the final proposal is requested by the County Executive’s Office. For a complete list of organizations receiving funding, please CLICK HERE.
