(BUFFALO) – I’m thrilled to see Kathy Hochul throw a party where political donors were crammed together like sardines and not wearing masks. Good for her. That’s how we all should live our lives. By the look of the photos, people not wearing masks and not social distancing are immune to COVID as long as they are donating money to a politician. Everyone else is in a high risk of contracting COVID, especially kids. If party goers don’t have to wear masks and social distance because they’re shelling out big bucks to a politician, why are those same politicians about to order our kids to wear masks in school?
Kathy Hochul’s example: rules for thee but not for me. Look, I can’t stress enough that I think it’s wonderful she gets together with donors that don’t mask and don’t social distance. If that’s her standard, why not use the same benchmark for kids in classrooms? If political donors don’t have to mask or social distance, neither should kids in classrooms.
