COMPTROLLER MYCHALIW STATEMENT ON NEW MASK MANDATES

(BUFFALO) – “Mark Poloncarz does not care about your health, your well-being, or stopping the spread of COVID. New mask mandates, along with vaccination and lockdown threats, are all about the County Executive exerting control over taxpayers. He’s not only power hungry but think about the overtime Dr. Burstein and political patronage employees will rack up now that he’s ginning up a COVID crisis. My message to businesses, bars, restaurants, barbershops, and places of worship: do not comply. If you want to wear a mask, wear one, if you want a vaccine, get one, if you want a booster, get one. If you have a brain and common sense, exercise your freedoms and good judgement whether you want to wear a mask. No question lawsuits will be filed over Mark Poloncarz’s new mandates. His goal has nothing to do with masks. He ultimately wants government to force vaccinations on all, including your kids.”
