COMPTROLLER MYCHAJLIW STATEMENT ON MASKS IN SCHOOL

Says parents should have final say, not hypocritical politicians

(BUFFALO) – Erie County Comptroller Stefan I. Mychajliw Jr. released the following statement regarding mask mandates in school:

“The hypocritical politician without kids, that doesn’t follow his own mask guidelines, is forcing parents to mask their children in school.  It’s abusive to force children, the least susceptible to COVID, to wear masks in school in stifling heat and humidity.  If Mark Poloncarz had kids of his own he wouldn’t force children to do this.  Moms and dads:  resist the order or homeschool your kids.”
