The Erie County Commission on the Status of Women wishes to extend our heartfelt condolences to former ECCSW Executive Director Susan Curran Hoyt’s family on her passing this spring 2018. Ms. Curran Hoyt served as the Commission’s executive director from 1997-2001. Under her leadership several reports and programs were created to the great benefit of women in Erie County including the 1997 report, Status of Women in Erie County: An Agenda for Progress and the United Nations Women’s Conference at Beijing-One Year Later. We are grateful for her invaluable contribution.
