Free movie fun as EC Parks, Chestnut Ridge Conservancy bring “The Avengers” to the Sled Hill

ERIE COUNTY, NY— Movie fun under the stars returns to Chestnut Ridge Park this Friday, June 27 as the Chestnut Ridge Conservancy, in conjunction with the Erie County Department of Parks, Recreation, and Forestry hosts a free screening of Marvel’s “The Avengers” at 9:30 PM. The movie will be shown on a giant screen set up on the Sled Hill at Chestnut Ridge, and families are advised to bring blankets, lawn chairs, or other seating to be comfortable during the movie.

“Working with our partners at the Chestnut Ridge Conservancy allows us to bring this fun family movie to the park for all to enjoy,” said Parks Commissioner Troy P. Schinzel. “It’s also a good opportunity for visitors to learn more about the Conservancy, the work they do, and how to be a part of what’s happening in Erie County Parks. I encourage residents to come out and enjoy the show, but please be aware that normal Park rules will be in place and enforced at the event.”

Refreshments will be available for purchase at the event. Alcohol is not permitted.
