As a precautionary measure in anticipation of difficult driving this afternoon due to inclement weather, non-essential Erie County personnel are being given the option of leaving work at 1:30 PM today. Employees are asked to use accrued leave if they choose to leave early. All non-essential employees directly serving the public must obtain supervisory approval BEFORE exercising the option to leave work early today. This includes Temporary Assistance employees, HEAP employees, SNAP employees, and others. Any meetings scheduled with the Department of Social Services for today should be re-scheduled.
