Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz has declared tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 24) as “The Goo Goo Dolls Day” in Erie County to celebrate the band as they make their final stop of their current tour with a concert at KeyBank Center in the City of Buffalo.

An official Executive Proclamation will be presented backstage by Poloncarz to John Rzeznik and Robby Takac prior to Saturday night’s concert that praises The Goo Goo Dolls for their many years of musical creativity and equally impressive support of numerous Western New York organizations, including FeedMore WNY, Compass House, and Variety Kids Telethon.

“The Goo Goo Dolls are tremendous ambassadors for our community who proudly represent the Buffalo music scene on an international basis,” said Poloncarz. “They have always remained proud of being from Western New York and have never forgotten about us despite their worldwide recognition in the recording industry.”
