Roadway to be Reopened the Morning of Tuesday, May 17

ERIE COUNTY, NY— The Erie County Department of Environment and Planning (“ECDEP”) Division of Sewerage Management has announced that a road closure is anticipated on William Street near Transit Road in the Town of Lancaster starting at 8 pm on Monday, May 16, 2016. The road will be reopened the morning of Tuesday, May 17, 2016. This road closure is necessary to facilitate the safe installation of a new sewer in the vicinity of this intersection. A signed detour will be in place.

This work is part of the Aurora North Pumping Station Elimination Project, a $7.8 million project that began last fall in Erie County Sewer District No. 4 and upgrades the sanitary sewer system from Borden Road in Cheektowaga to Aurora Street in Lancaster.
